The below steps may take up to 30 days to complete.

For any business owner to apply for business credit you need to have the following in place first.

Your business name should not include your name at all. I messed up on this because I did not know what I know right now. Think about McD's it doesn't mean Hambers. Make your business name something that means what you envision your business being in 10 years.

You can apply for you business's LLC after you have gotten your business name, business address, and business phone number.

Go to YOURSTATE.GOV to apply

You can apply for your EIN number by clicking the link below. However, do this after you have your business name, business address, business phone, business email address and your LLC registered.

NAICS codes are government codes that tells other businesses and creditors what you do. NAICS stands for North American Industry Classification System. You can look up what codes are best for your business here.

Buy your domain name and always buy the following extensions: .com, .net, .org, .info

Always get a professional email attached to the domain (services@yourdomain.com and yourfirstname@yourdomainname.com) when you buy the domain. Make the .com your main domain address. When thinking about hosting I would always choose WordPress because when you need help with your domain every web expert knows WordPress and you can get help cheaply. Always buy an SSL certificate with your .com domain. You should also get a Google email address for your business.

This is one of the ways other businesses and creditors will check to see if you are legitimized. Click the link and register your business. Do this after you have gotten all of your business ID and location setup and your websites setup.

Apply for a Business Checking Account at CHASE BANK. However, if you have a personal account at Chase Bank you need a different bank. In my ebook I share with you a number of great banks and why you should use them.

Most small business owners don't know this or don't know what to do to establish a trade line with other companies. You need these trade lines because they show that your business is stable and can handle itself. Net 30 means that you have ordered something from a company and they shipped it to you. They send you an invoice with the amount that needs to be paid within 30 days and you pay it.

Example: You establish a net 30 account at Best Buy. You order $1000 of stuff from them. They send your business the stuff and an invoice that says you need to pay them the $1000 in the next 30 days. You pay the full amount. However, if you don't, will your business be done in a bad way? But we will stay positive here. The invoice says by the 30th of next month. You pay over the Internet on the 28th of the month ... your business will get a PayDex Score (business credit union) of 80 - that is a good score. But if the bill is due on the 30th and your business pays on the 15th of the month your PaxDex Score will be 90. The PaxDex score only goes up to 100. Get the message?

You can establish these accounts with only $100 but if you are trying to get funding soon you really need to spend $1,000 on each account.

That's 8 accounts times $1,000 = $8,000. This is where the bulk of your startup money will go.

TIP: Register for all of them on the same day. You'll get most approvals within a week. Make your purchases and pay within 15 days.

Do this for three months and you are ready for the next step.

You can apply for the Home Depot® Business Credit Card online on Home Depot's website or in your nearest Home Depot store. You'll need a credit score of at least 640 (fair credit) to be considered eligible for a new account.

The Best Buy® Credit Card credit score requirement is 700 or better. That means people with at least good credit have a shot at getting approved for the Best Buy® Credit Card. Approval odds are higher with the Best Buy Store Card; this card requires at least fair credit (640+ credit score recommended).

A larger supplier of commercial-grade office supplies at affordable prices, Crown Office Supplies also offers mobile accessories and electronics.

Crown Office Supplies works with new and existing businesses, so this supplier is a good option regardless of your business’s age.

A reputable supplier of industrial equipment, Grainger offers everything from power transmissions to lighting equipment.

To establish a net 30 business account, you need to contact the Grainger credit department directly. The evaluation process involves a credit inquiry.

Another excellent supplier of office supplies, Uline is notable for its offerings of industrial boxes and paper products. To access a net 30 business account, simply select this option at checkout. Uline will verify your business is eligible before issuing any trade credit.

Quill provides office supplies, electronics, and other products from leading global brands. Its website serves as an easy-to-use catalog of items, making it simple to reorder products.

After completing the Net 30 account application on its website, Quill runs a credit check on your business. If your business gains approval, you can place orders totaling over $100 via your net 30 business account.

The BP Credit Card offers 1 - 5 points per $1 spent on purchases and has a $0 annual fee. The card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted and requires at least good credit for approval. This means you need a credit score of 700 or better to get it.

What credit score do you need for the Shell Gas card? The Shell Gas Card credit score requirement is 640 or better. That means people with fair credit or better have a shot at getting approved for the Shell Gas Card.

If you need branded products for your staff or customers, Business T-Shirt Club is an excellent net 30 account option. You can sign up for a net 30 business account on their website. If you are a new customer, you will pay a 50% deposit on the value of your first five orders. After paying the remaining balance of these orders according to the payment terms, the deposit requirement is lifted.

To establish a net 30 business account, you need to contact the Grainger credit department directly. The evaluation process involves a credit inquiry.

Offering a range of network services throughout the United States, Strategic Network Solutions makes it easy to use its net 30 account service. Your business must purchase an $80 downloadable product from the company and click “Bill My Net 30” at checkout. After paying the invoice within 30 days, Strategic Network Solutions will establish a $2,000 credit line for your business.

While Walmart is traditionally associated with its brick-and-mortar retail operations, it has made significant strides in the online industry. You can sign up for a business account and browse its products online.

The Walmart community card operates as a net 30 program for businesses wanting to build credit while purchasing products.

Creative Analytics

Their other services include WordPress website creation and management, email marketing, pay-per-click campaigns, and more. They also offer business Net 30 accounts to help clients build their credit. Dun and Bradstreet and the major credit bureaus receive Creative Analytics reports.
